Many styles of Viognier are expressed throughout the world depending on the ripeness of this remarkable grape available. Our full body style stands up to 20% new French oak barrel fermentation and aging. Rich tropical aromas envelop mango, cardamom, Fuji apple, clover honey and subtle oak textures into a balanced mouthfeel with lush acidity. Pair with rich cuisine from all four seasons.

Aromas and flavors of dried apricot, white peach, cardamom and subtle oak underline the essence of this wine and build a platform for rich textures and a crisp, dry finish.

The 2018 growing season was a wonderful example of perfection. Hot days followed by cool evenings always form our Summer weather pattern through harvest. Bountiful fruit flavors in the grapes outpaced the sugars so the decision to pick a little earlier than normal years was made. We pressed the grapes lightly and extracted only the best juices. The rest went into our mash fermentation for our spirits program. 2 brand-new French oak and 6 once filled barrels were selected for fermentation. All went smoothly and the classic viognier characteristics began to develop. 20% malolactic fermentation added a more broad mouthfeel and invites more tropical fruit and spice complexity.
