Winemaker Notes
2014 was a great year for grape growing. Lisa's Vineyard is meticulously farmed using organic standards and bio-dynamic philosophy. Dry-farmed until the last push before harvest allowed the grapes to equilibrate concentration of varietal characteristics. Winemaking practices included a small experiment to add more aeration during pumpovers for efficient nutrient additions and fermentation health. Aging in 20% new French oak and 10% new American oak barrels provide complexity of spices to the bold fruit character.
