05 Apr Covid Update
Dear thumbprint family,
For those who have been directly affected by COVID-19, please know our hearts and thoughts are with you. We are all holding out hope for the health and safety of everyone.
As some of you may know, California’s Governor has asked all wineries to close temporarily as a means to support efforts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and thus the thumbprint Tasting Lounge is currently closed to the public.
As we face these uncertain times we are leaning into our core values as a company. Our main value has always been family first. We wanted to take a moment to share with you, our extended thumbprint family, how we are working to continue to serve our valued customers through these changing times.
Keeping our Team healthy and safe: We are a small, family owned company that values each member of our team. Keeping our staff safe and healthy is paramount to us. We are adjusting roles and schedules to allow our staff to maintain income while working remotely wherever possible. Throughout the initial stages of the COVID-19 outbreak, we initiated strict cleaning and sanitizing protocols to keep our work spaces safe. We even mixed up our own batch of hand sanitizer when the stores ran out!
Continuing to get thumbprint to you: Because our team is working remotely, we will not answer the phone when you call. However, we will be checking messages and getting back to you. The best way to stay in touch is through email: wineclub@thumbprintcellars.com.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’d like us to ship you some wine. Personally, we’re noticing that a beautiful glass of thumbprint is really helpful to lift our spirits lately. As long as fed-ex is shipping, we will endeavor to keep getting wine shipped to you!
thumbprint was built from relationships and we hope to keep that alive through these difficult times. As we face these uncertain times we would like to thank you, our thumbprint family, for your continued support during the ever changing COVID-19 environment.
Stay safe, stay healthy and keep in touch.
Sincerely,
Scott, Erica and the thumbprint Team
“Place your left hand on your right shoulder.
Put your right hand on your left shoulder. Now squeeze.
Big hugs to you from your thumbprint family!”
